Shipping and Handling

Our delivery time starts from the moment an order is accepted and includes a 48-hour period where your items will be processed and carefully hand packed for you.

We offer two methods of shipment for orders dispatched via UPS.

  • You can choose to sign for your order upon arrival.  This option is best for customers who prefer the security of a signed delivery. If you are unavailable when your package arrives, UPS will leave a re-delivery slip.
  • Alternatively, you may prefer to waive the signature requirement and UPS will leave your shipment outside of the premises for your convenience. Please note, orders containing items of high value may still require a signature, even if you did not select to sign for your order on arrival. We realize this may be inconvenient but we would like to ensure that your purchases arrive securely.

When placing an order, the signature requirement is set by default; however, you can update your preference on the shipping page before proceeding to purchase. Please note, that if no signature is collected, you agree to our terms and conditions and take full responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur.

Orders received Monday through Thursday typically ship within two to three business days after items have been processed.  Orders received Friday, Saturday or Sunday are processed the following Monday and typically ship within two to three business days excluding major and national holidays on which UPS does not pick up.  Below are the shipping methods we currently offer and apply to most destinations:

  • UPS Ground – Orders are delivered between 9am-8pm, Monday to Friday.  Receive your purchases within 2 to 7 business days from the time they are shipped UPS
  • Currently, Balsa does not ship outside the USA
Shipping and Handling Charges

The shipping charge you see when selecting the shipping method is based on the destination and/or the weight of the package.  Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Taxes are calculated according to your shipping destination and itemized at the bottom of the Order Summary page.  Shipping within the USA, sales tax will only be charged on orders shipped to New York State and Florida State. No other tax or import duty will be applied to orders shipped within the USA. Please note that all non-customs related local taxes are the customer’s responsibility. Balsa Athletica is not responsible for reporting or paying additional local taxes to states, such as Use Tax.

Tracking Your Order

Once your purchases are on their way to you, we will send you an email with your air waybill number. Registered customers can login to their account on Balsa Athletica’s top bar and follow its progress. If you have shopped but haven’t created an account with us yet, you can register now so you can monitor the status of your order.

Returns and Exchanges

Balsa Athletica gladly accept returns or exchanges if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase.

You can return your item(s) within 20-days of delivery date for a full refund.  We just ask the item(s) are returned unworn, unwashed, and unaltered in the original packaging with all tags attached.

To exchange, simply return your item for a full refund within 20-days of purchase and enter a new order for your new item online.  Again, we just ask the item(s) are returned unworn, unwashed, and unaltered in the original packaging with all tags attached.
